It was a full, long weekend with lots of play time with Bebe and Co. Really had fun doing the show Saturday night and had a great call-in segment with the ever fabulous Kim. Her top ten lessons learned from her first music festival experience are below, please enjoy. I have also linked to the Jell-O cake recipe I recounted for you. Here's to a great week and month ahead.
Also, a special thanks to Andy for risking life and limb to not miss the show!
Jell-O Cake
Kim's Top 10 Lessons Learned for
Music Festival Attendance
| 10 | Bring your own food - you'll want enough cash to get festival specialty foods, but you'll be broke (not to mention sick) if that's all you plan to eat. |
| 9 | Dress in layers - your attire must be flexible enough to accommodate a wide temperate range. |
| 8 | Bring full sized garbage bags - they are handy for covering your chair if it rains. |
| 7 | If you have peeps meeting you at the festival, get good at looking around and waving your arms frantically. |
| 6 | Bring a hat - scalp sunburns suck. |
| 5 | Don't leave your chair after dark - it is impossible to find your way back. |
| 4 | If you HAVE to leave your seat after dark, bring a flashlight or glow stick , it's helpful when trying to find your way back. |
| 3 | If you can avoid dehydration, drink very little, so nothing will need to come out. |
| 2 | If you HAVE to go to the bathroom, sometimes the port-a-potty is a better option than the real bathrooms. |
| 1 | If a middle aged woman approaches, avoid looking at her chest - she may be bra-less. |
